The truth is out about PowerBalance wristbands ...You've probably seen the commercials and noticed the rising popularity of these hologram-embedded bracelets.
You may have had your doubts about whether or not these things
actually work, but you might have been curious enough to fork over the 20 or 30
bucks to see if they improved your health, balance or energy.
Well, the verdict is in. They're a total scam.
PowerBalance actually had to publicly
admit to the Australian media that the bracelets are nothing more than a silly,
useless trinket:
"In our advertising we stated that Power Balance wristbands
improved your strength, balance and flexibility ... We admit that there is no
credible scientific evidence that supports our claims and therefore we engaged
in misleading conduct ... If you feel you have been misled by our promotions,
we wish to unreservedly apologize and offer a full refund."
