Marshmallow Predicts If Your Child Will Be A Success
Thursday, September 1, 2011
You can predict -- with accuracy -- if a 4-year-old child will become a college graduate. Psychologists call it the “Marshmallow Test”. They place one marshmallow in front of a child, who sits alone in a room, and with simple instructions. At anytime, that marshmallow is theirs to eat. But they can have 2 marshmallows if they wait until the researcher returns to the room. The ones who can delay their gratification and earn 2 marshmallows are also likely to be college graduates. See a video on it below.
